NexGard SPECTRA® is a heartworm and tick preventative that kills heartworm larvae, treats tick and flea infestations, and helps to control and treat hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms for dogs 3.5-7.5kg. It comes in a tasty chewable tablet that you should feed to your dog once a month.

Uses
For the prevention of heartworm disease one month (30 days) after infection, for the treatment of tick and flea infestations for one month, and for the treatment and control of adult roundworm, adult hookworm and adult whipworm in dogs.

Precautions
Do not start in puppies below eight (8) weeks of age.
All pets above six (6) months of age who are not on a current heartworm prevention program must be tested for existing heartworm infection before starting treatment with this medication.
Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of ingestion by humans, clients should be advised to contact a physician immediately.
